We have heard back from MCN with news from AT&T. As of 12:30 PM Friday afternoon, the repairs have been complete and our monitoring indicates that the system is working smoothly. We as well as MCN will continue to monitor the system. Please keep in mind that the horrific fires definately play a roll in the fluctuation of speeds from time to time, and we are all looking forward to them being put out soon.

As always, the staff at Central Valley Cable wishes everyone to have a safe 4TH of July.

View Article  RECENT INTERNET PROBLEMS

Dear CVC Customers,

MCN staff has been trying to work with AT&T internet maintenance for a good part of today trying to resolve the internet problems. Unfortunately, we have had limited response from AT&T in regards to the repair of the circuit. At the end of the day we finally managed to speak to the manager of the escalation division who told us that there has been another problem discovered on the physical cable that the circuit is delivered on. This was at 5:40 PM Thursday afternoon. He is trying to dispatch someone later to resolve the problem tonight, but is not hopeful that this can happen. So we may be waiting until Friday before more work can be done to resolve the problem.
